Jamila is our celebration of chintz, an Indian textile so popular in European markets by the 17th century that England and France banned its import to protect their own mills. Our dohar is printed with this colourful, intricate floral pattern in calming shades of plum, pine green and winter blue and has solid ladakh blue edging.

100% cotton. Printed by hand. Our dohars are printed on the central layer, giving just a subtle glimpse of the design, and their three layers of cotton muslin are bound together with a contrasted edging.

• Your products can be machine-washed using a delicate wash cycle or hand-washed.
• Use the machine spin cycle to remove any excess water
• It’s better to use cold water
• Do not bleach as it will damage the colours.
• Avoid wringing.
• No dry cleaning.
• Line dry in the shade.
• Use a warm iron to ease out any wrinkles.
