Vedika Indigo Dohars

Vedika is our signature toile de Jouy, a French textile created in the 18th century to rival India’s chintz trade. Printed in a single colour, as is traditional of this style, the Vedika pattern depicts ancient Vijayanagara temple landscapes. Our dohar has this print in indigo with polka dotted edging.

100% cotton. Printed by hand. Our dohars are printed on the central layer, giving just a subtle glimpse of the design, and their three layers of cotton muslin are bound together with a contrasted edging.

• Packaging: Comes in a box suitable for personal use of further gifting. Each product comes packed in its own canvas bag which can be used for storing it or for multiple other uses.

• Your products can be machine-washed using a delicate wash cycle or hand-washed.
• Use the machine spin cycle to remove any excess water
• It’s better to use cold water
• Do not bleach as it will damage the colours.
• Avoid wringing.
• No dry cleaning.
• Line dry in the shade.
• Use a warm iron to ease out any wrinkles.
